Ahtna, Inc. is the Alaska Native Regional Corporation of the Ahtna region, an expansive area in Southcentral Alaska covering nearly 32,000 square miles, or roughly 20 million acres. Ahtna, Inc., which owns and manages approximately 1.55 million acres of land in this region, has more than 2,000 shareholders, the majority of whom are of Ahtna Athabascan descent and many of whom still live in their traditional homeland.
